Children's Sabbath:
Hand in Hand (2002)

Suggested bulletin announcements:

  • On October 5, our church will join with hundreds of others in celebrating Children's Sabbath. Invite the children from your neighborhood to come and bring their families for this special service honoring children. Fellowship lunch to follow.

  • Next week is our Children's Sabbath program. It'll be a lot of fun--all the children will have a part. Please help us reach out to unchurched families, neighbors, and former members. See (CHURCH SECRETARY) to help deliver invitations in person.

  • Remember being afraid to go someplace new--until somebody took you by the hand? Often that's how children feel about church, Jesus, and even heaven. If you've ever taken a child by the hand, plan to be here for the Blessing of the Hands on October 5.

  • Parents--next week is Children's Sabbath. This special service will spotlight the children of our congregation. You and your family won't want to miss it! The action begins at (TIME).
